Waterside Campus has been working towards their Woodland Trust Green School Award and have finally achieved it!!
In order to reach ‘Gold’ status, the pupils have completed a variety of different tasks that help the environment. These actions have also helped to improve our Forest School area too.
The children have planted 100 trees that were gifted to the school from the Woodland Trust, helping to cut their CO2 emissions. They have also been busy raising awareness of recycling and exploring different viewpoints of different creatures.
Well done to all the pupils involved. They have thoroughly enjoyed the project.
