🍓Strawberries Class🍓
This term Strawberries Class explored the country of Poland for International Day.
The students enjoyed learning interesting facts about Poland, watching a selection of video clips on the whiteboard, followed by a quiz. They learnt the Capital city is Warsaw and a popular, favourite dish is Dumplings, among other fascinating facts. We also learnt some Polish words, Hello -cześć", thank you- dziękuję, and bye- Do widzenia. Everyone’s pronunciation was amazing. At the end of the morning session, we prepared and cooked Zapiekanka, (Polish Street Food), which we had for lunch. After lunch the students visited a selection of Eastern European shops, in Spalding, where they explored different Polish food and bought some flavoured drinks and crips to try, on our return to school!
