A steel signing event took place last week to mark progress made on the construction of the new Tulip Academy build on behalf of the Department for Education (DfE) for the Community Inclusive Trust (CIT Academies).
Members of Tilbury Douglas, the DfE and Tulip Academy staff and pupils were present to sign the steels and enjoy the celebrations.
The new build, two-storey, Special Educational Needs (SEN) school for children and young adults aged 11 to 16, replaces the previous out-dated accommodation on the site at Neville Avenue, Spalding.
