Following the huge success from the 2024 competition, ‘THE NATIONAL SCHOOL SONG COMPETITION 2025’ is back for a second year and Tulip decided to enter!
Our very own Mrs Thirsk composed the music and lyrics and then pupils got together across both sites to record the finished song.
Music increases creativity and imagination, boosts self-esteem and confidence, so we decided to enter because we knew our pupils would find it lots of fun, and the competition is in aid of Great Ormond Street and Grief Encounter too.
Our song was submitted today. It will be listened to by an experienced judging panel, with backgrounds in music, singing and song writing. The schools that make it into to the final 10 will have the incredible experience of performing at a live final, in front of their friends, families public and in front of a celebrity panel. Fingers crossed for our Tulip entry!
