Indian International Day at Tulip Academy
Tulip Academy Spalding enjoyed an International Day with a focus on India as pupils continue to develop their understanding and knowledge of different countries and cultures.
International Days are always extremely popular at Tulip Academy, with recent previous events showcasing China and Poland.
Pupils enjoyed a variety of classroom based activities, including the exploration of Indian flags, clothing, instruments, music, tea lights, traditional sand art and rangoli and henna patterns.
The school for children and young people with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities also welcomed guests to teach them Indian dancing and provide a delightful Indian buffet that went down a treat! Thank you to Primary Workshops and Chameli Tandoori Restaurant for joining everyone in the celebrations.
